Mission Statement

St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic School exists to provide academic excellence
within a Christian atmosphere and to prepare its students to take their places
as responsible members of church and society.  Our mission includes teaching
the message of Jesus, building community and rendering service.  Our
threefold mission   is carried out as follows:

To teach the message of Jesus:
-creating a setting where God’s Word can flourish
-presenting the Gospel message to help each student nourish his/her faith life

To build community:
-establishing an atmosphere where each person can experience community
-teaching the importance of each individual person
-providing religious experiences which fosters bonds of friendship and
cooperation
-including value centered experiences in the curriculum

To render service:
-helping children become more aware of their gifts and talents
-encouraging the use of their gifts to serve the needs of others
-recognizing that social justice is a concern of all
